TOO METALLOPROKAT KARAGANDA (KAZMET) is pleased to announce the launch of its most presetigous state-of-the-art ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) production line project, marking a major milestone in our ongoing expansion strategy. The new line — scheduled to begin installation at the end of next quarter — represents one of the most significant capacity upgrades in our company’s history.
Once operational, the ERW line will add an additional 220,000 tons of annual steel production to our existing capabilities, substantially strengthening our position as a leading manufacturer and processor within Kazakhstan’s steel industry for which we plan to obain API liscence to cater to the ever growing demand from the Oil & Gas sector. This world-class facility will be equipped with advanced forming, welding, sizing, and inspection technologies designed to deliver exceptional precision, consistency, and product reliability.
This strategic investment reflects KAZMET’s long-term commitment to supporting the growing needs of the international markets. By expanding our product portfolio to include a wider range of ERW pipes and hollow sections, we are better positioned to serve key sectors such as construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, machinery, and general engineering.
